Had a great Evening with Liz & Terra Carlisle at the Cardinal Golf Course Dinner/Dance on Friday October 17, 2008. The event was sold out and Liz & Terra did a great job! On Saturday October 18th we spent some time with our great volunteers at the Snowmobile Show at the International Center. The Parking Lot was full and there were crowds of people! Our Booth was busy and looked really good.

For Liz Jessman,
You are doing a great job and I wanted to say I loved your booth you set up at the Ameliasburg, ON fair October 4th-5th, 2008. You have created awareness of the charity and your "bunnies" are a great idea.
For those of you that don't know, Liz makes these really cute stuffed bunnies with swivelling arms and legs in the purple and pink colours. These bunnies are a great way to raise money.
I am going to have a look around for some material for your bunnies to help you with your costs. If someone can get in touch with Liz, or forward my email address to her, I can arrange to ger her some materials for her bunnies.
Hugs,
Melissa Cross

Had a great time at Jakestock in Gilford, ON., on Sunday August 31, 2008. Chris & Pam (de Boer) Evanshen did a great job of organizing and running this Event which is contributing ( for the 3rd year) all proceeds to the Snow Run. The Weather was terrific, right on the Water with Boats cruising by and lots of participants. I'll let Pam disclose how much was collected for Kelly's Run. Great job guys!
Bob & Terry.
P.S. See you at the Snowmobile Show or sooner!

Michele (Mom) Goulding - Hillsburgh
Hi everyone,
Wow - I can't believe it - 9th year of a great bunch of women and men doing so much for so many others. The Hillsburgh Ladies won't be there this year to ride with you amazing people, but please know that we will be thinking of you and wishing you an extremely successful and memory making event.
Our support for this wonderful charity grows stronger each and every day and while we won't be there in person we will be sending our financial support and our personal/emotional support to you all. Keeping Kelly's dream alive is so important to us and we thank you all for doing what you have always done - your very best to make that happen.
Suzy - you are one awesome lady and I commend you on the excellent job you do each year to continue the dream that you and Kelly launched - my very best wishes now and always for your continued success and great happiness.
Good luck to all you amazing ladies (and men). The Hillsburgh Ladies are thinking of you all and looking forward to seeing you all on the trails. Play safe and keep well until we see each other again.

Almost 3 years since we lost Kelly to a better place.... but her memory and legacy will live on forever in me and many others that she touched if only for a second. (or she danced in front of - like no one was EVER watching!!) I am the proud recipient of the Betty Black Memorial award from years back and also had the great honor of singing along with the angels as they welcomed Kelly at her celebration of life. My Mom has had her 5 year cancer free ticket this year and with the support and positive role models like Kelly that were forever-giving and always there when you needed a shoulder to cry or laugh on.... it just made it easier to get to this point.
I have since moved to Alberta and miss so much being able to share such a fun-filled, emotionally charged weekend with everyone. Perhaps one year you should all come West???
I am the proud Mom of a new baby boy this past week and it really makes you realize just how precious life is all over again. My girls are already 8 & 11 years old!! Time flies!
For those of you contemplating joining the Run for 2008 - JUST DO IT!! It will be one of the most memorable weekends of your life leading up to it... the actual run... and how you have changed after it forever. God Bless each and every one of you fighting the fight yourself or supporting a loved one!! You all ROCK!!!! And don't forget to DANCE!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of Love Always - Shelley Welsh

Feb 4/07,LADIES, Thanks so much for the interview Suzy & Liz, it was an honour to have the event in Haliburton ,all the great ladies & men to keep Kelly's dream alive, she was blessed to have such great friends.Although mother nature did not supply much snow Liz tells me a good time was had by all. When Suzy asked for a show of hands of who has been affected by breast cancer, most people had. My sister-in-law Val has 3 boys 12,11 & 9 she was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with breast cancer, she's doing well now,and because of Kelly's Breast Cancer trust your donation helped lighten the burden a little.THANKS TO THE" KELLY SHIRES BREAT CANCER SNOW RUN". to all the volunteers Keep up the good work!!!
